	027/12 - Tabs Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 6 years and 0 months Good with other cats - Yes Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - Unknown Details Lovely Tabs is a little unsure of things right now. His owner died at Christmas after a period of illness resulting in his cats being left alone for some time prior to his death. Since his death, neighbours have been feeding Tabs and the other cats, but it has been rather unsettling for them and poor old Tabs has lost a bit of his confidence. We are certain that once he starts to settle at our centre, and once he settles in his new home, he will start to come out of his shell and become a bold fellow. Tabs is currently accommodated with Harlee, a female of similar age, and we would be happy to rehome him with her or on his own. His age is estimated.
	024/12 - Goliath Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 0 years and 10 months Good with other cats - No Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - No Details Goliath is a lovely big lad who isn't feeling very brave at the moment. He was abandoned by his previous owner and wasn't coping very well living outside. A neighbour took him and loved him but felt it was better for him to have a new home as he was being attacked by local feral cats and was becoming very stressed. Goliath has a lovely friendly nature and will soon come round with a friendly cuddle and a few treats.
	008/12 - Alfie Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 7 years and 1 months Good with other cats - Unknown Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - Unknown Details Alfie was found abandoned and we think his owner may have died leaving Alfie alone. He is a very friendly boy who is intersted in all thats going on around him. He is an active cat who likes rolling and playing in his pen when he isn't watching what people are up to. As Alfie came to us from someone who didn't know him we are not sure how Alfie will be with children, cats or dogs.
	002/12 - Estelle Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 2 years and 0 months Good with other cats - Yes Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - Unknown Details One of a group of cats from a multi-cat household, Estelle has been very traumatised by the recent death of her owner. We feel that in a new quieter home with fewer cats, Estelle's lovely personality will start to shine. She would be fine with a home with a tolerant male cat but probably would not suit a home with female cats.
	003/12 - Maggie Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 2 years and 1 months Good with other cats - Yes Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - Unknown Details We were asked to take in a group of around 15 cats when their owner became terminally ill. Sadly he has now died. The cats were very much loved although their care has been haphazard in the last few months, and they have become traumatised due to strangers going in and feeding them. Maggie is one of these cats, but we feel with the right home, with no young children, dogs or female cats she will soon come out of her shell. Others from the same home have been rehomed successfully from our centre and are settling in well, so we have no reason to suspect that Maggie won't.
	004/12 - Tickles Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 3 years and 0 months Good with other cats - Yes Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - Unknown Details Tickles is rather timid but we feel that with an understanding and patient owner she will soon come out of her shell. Due to the recent death of her previous owner, and the need for strangers to go into her house to feed her adn the other cats he left behind, Tickles has withdrawn into her shell. All she needs is a chance in the right home. We would prefer a home with no dogs or young children and if there are cats we would prefer them to be male (as she would probably be bullied by an existing female cat). Tickles hass already gained some confidence and has unusual pretty eyes that are both green and blue.
	489/11 - Tess Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 8 years and 10 months Good with other cats - No Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - No Details Tess is a previous resident but sadly her adopted owner died and Tess had to return to us. Tess suffers from a stress related fur loss problem and the difficulty she has experienced in losing her owner has meant she has been overgrooming and some of her skin is a little sore. She is improving though and we would pay any vet fees associated with her condition. She would be better with a home without very young children, and although she has lived with cats in the past we feel that she would be better as an only cat. Tess will probably be very nervous in her new home, but we are confident that once she has got her bearings, with a patient owner, she will make a lovely companion.
	479/11 - Muffin Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 0 years and 6 months Good with other cats - Yes Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - Unknown Details We need a very special home for Muffin. He was one of a pair of brothers born in a garden and not discovered until they were at least three months old. Because of this they missed essential early handling and are very nervous with people. We have been giving Muffin intensive handling and he is coming on in leaps and bounds - he loves being stroked and has a joyful purr, but he is nervous if approached by someone standing up. We would expect to work closely with Muffin's new owners until his confidence is improved and we would expect new owners to follow our instructions and guidance for the first few weeks. We will be very fussy when chosing a home for Muffin, and will not permit him to go to a house with children or dogs, as they would add too much stress. He would love to live with another cat, but we would prefer that he is the only cat at first (it will help him bond better with his humans), so we would encourage the introduction of another cat at a later date. Muffin will be hard work at first, but once he gains his confidence, he is likely to be the most loving and affectionate cat you could ask for. As you may be able to see from the photo, he is a polydactyl cat - he has extra claws on each paw. Please telephone us if you want to know more about Muffin. (His eyes don't really glow in the dark!!).
	405/11 - Suzie Domestic Short Hair Cat aged 1 years and 3 months Good with other cats - Unknown Good with dogs - Unknown Good with children under 5 years - Unknown Details Suzie was a pregnant stray when she was brought to our centre, and she had five lovely kittens shortly after we placed her in a temporary foster home. Her kittens have now all been rehomed and we would love to see Suzie settled before too long. Her fosterer has told us that she is a lovely cat, but other than that we don't have any history or background as the person who brought her to us knew very little about her.
